Alongside product work I've freelanced as GENPUGDESIGN since 2018. This page collects the physical and print side of that work: packaging, posters, window signage and apparel graphics. Each piece had to work as a real object, at its real size, for a real audience.
A branded rolling paper booklet for Medusa, a cannabis discovery startup where I was the founding designer. The outside wraps the Medusa wordmark and serpent mark around a snake-scale pattern. When the booklet opens, a pair of illustrated eyes looks back at you, which plays on the "Turn to Stone" line.
Posters for Medusa's Turn to Stone campaign, including the 4/20 launch push. Each one uses a strong duotone or gradient treatment on the photography so the series reads as one family, whether it shows up in a feed or on a wall.

Print and environmental pieces for a judo dojo on West 27th Street: a registration poster for the kids' season, mat-side photography with a single red accent, and the window signage that faces the street.

The first round of shirt graphics for Medusa, drawn by hand before anything went digital. The pages include serpent marks, type lockups and a kanji direction. These sketches led to the shirts worn in the brand's first studio shoot.
